What would climb a 6 ft kennel, get on top of the wildlife netting on top so it rips, climb down into the run and either eat an entire bantam hen, and a chick, or carry it off back out the top and same hole it made?
I only found feathers, it cornered her, and there are feathers everywhere, but only in that corner. Her body is completely gone. Ive seen coons around the pen at night, well my wildlife camera (which unfortunately was somewhere else this time) has caught them in front of the run, but never have they gotten in. I have however seen a large black and white cat stalking my coop for the last week. Could a cat carry off a bantam hen over a fence? or would it eat an entire one? There are no feathers on the fence, or outside the pen. It almost looks like it plucked her and ate her entire body (and there is no sign of her 3 week old chick) right there in the corner, or plucked her and left with her entire body, and ate the chick...I dont know. It had to be smart, and stealthy.
