I found a puppy this morning on our doorstep - some kind of a pit/lab mix. We already can't afford anything, and the thing would not leave so we called the no-kill shelter up the street and then came and got her. She was only about 6-8 weeks old too. I was so sad.

I had a friend bring me a kitten once . She is a calico but her under belly and sides are white and her nose so i put a little dirt on her sides and her nose and go MOM I FOUND A KITTEN UNDER THE FRONT PORCH ! CAN WE KEEP HER ?? THANKS

i said thanks before she even said yes i just made up my mind i was keeping her . Hey wat was 1 more cat ?we already had 3 and 8 dogs and a billion birds out back

I come by it honestly, my mom brought home every stray she could see within a mile. So I wind up doing the same thing. But I KNOW we can't afford another animal right now unless it is a chicken because they are so cheap to feed. especially here in CA - feed is CHEAP!

how cheep is feed over there here its $12 for a 50 pound bag of feed

$15 for 75 lbs. I know it's cheaper here because I have seen some posts where it was like twice the price. Hay is $5 a bale. Feeding and keeping these girls is really cheap.

What the crap! I just paid $17 per 50lb bag of starter. I'm so irritated with that new feed store, I'm not going back. At least ours has more selection, even if it's 10 miles further.

We have cheap feed here because there are so many feed stores, they have to compete. Which makes me very happy.

HAHAHA - you are right I meant zodiak. If you read all my posts, you will see I am not stating on their beliefs, just they way they handled it. it's a TV show and they were not prepared for their mission. I am animal lover and want them ALL saved.

Can youy believe my mom paid $25 for a 50 pound bag of game bird starter back in september at the grain store in the next town over

7 dollars for a bale of shavings at the grain store and $4 at the pet store
