This group used to be booming day and night. I’d get an answer many times immediately, when posting a question. I thought quarantine would increase activity, but it seems to drastically declined , unless it’s just my threads Lolol
I haven’t seen a lot of participation lately. Is this just me or has anyone else noticed it?
 
I think it is because more people are outside putting in gardens, handling their animals, mowing season just started. I know I for 1 have not had more time due to this as I'm still working full time.

We also have had a LOT of new members, and while that is great, people typically join because they are having an issue, otherwise they just tend to lurk without joining. With the new members that are having issues, we get a lot of questions. I'm following this section of the forum so I see all new posts here and read them all, but I don't go wandering a lot from my normal threads. This is mostly because I don't have chickens of my own, so I don't feel super qualified to answer most questions.
 
Last May 1-14 there were ~55,000 posts and this May 1-14 there were ~70,000 posts, so posting is up. As for my posting, I guess most of it has been in the chat and contest threads. :oops:

Starting today I will be helping out in other forums where I can.
 
I always think it's funny when peeps say things have slowed down compared to in the past. We're seeing more daily posts now than we've seen in years... in fact, check out this chart of daily posts since the 1st of the year:

well I see a decline in my responses and in responses to others. Maybe everyone’s in a chat I didn’t stumble upon lol
