What’s going on with my roosters comb ?

I noticed a small crust spot starting on his comb a few months ago. It was the start of winter and due to the cold weather and my work schedule I decided to just keep my eye on it until the weather warmed up a bit, as I didn’t want to risk freezing his comb. The weather has started to warm up now, and when I got done my work rotation and got home I noticed it’s grown a substantial amount. I have a bachelor flock and he’s the only one who has it, so it hasn’t spread. What is it and how can I get rid of it ? I live in Canada so I have limited access to products unless I go to a vet (which I am 100% willing to do and have done for one of my other boys before).

maybe frostbite or something?
@Eggcessive
I don’t believe it’s frostbite. It usually happens on the tips first, though I do have one that does have frostbite. This is more of a crusty chunk. I was thinking maybe a fungal thing, and was thinking of trying to use anti-fungal ointment for a few weeks when I get back home from work again.

It looks like an old injury. They look black at first then can turn this tan color before turning white. The flakiness looks like it is healing.
