I'm sure glad I didn't!
I just dumped the egg out, rinsed off the butter and sugar and added two different eggs.
I know, I could have dumped the whole batch, but I didn't want to wait for the butter to soften again. That takes FOREVER!

Yep! What else would have I rinsed it with? Lol!
Just sprayed the whole butter and sugar mixture off.
It probably would have been better to dump it though, because the water made the batter curdle and now the cookies have a weird texture. Darn dead embryo egg.

Looks like a blood spot to me, it can be in the white as well. I don't see anything that looks like it was a developing embryo
