What’s going on with this egg?

It’s been going good with hatch but hasn’t zipped and it’s 1-2 hours over 24 hours. I can’t tell what position the chick is in or what’s going on.

I don’t know when to intervene or if I should.

If it's over 24 hours, I would certainly say you should. It may be too late, but here's a great article that will help:

I did read that before hand but I couldn’t make out if it was a beak or not. I ended up doing and eggtopsy. It had already passed in the egg and didn’t full absorbe the yolk. Thank you for your help!
Awe, so sorry! I never mind removing any at 7 days or 14 days but after that, I just hate it. I mark questionable ones and let them stay in there an extra day. Once I hatched a question marked egg! That was pretty cool!

Yea me too. I really hate seeing them get so close. But that’s really cool to get one you didn’t think might hatch to. It is a bit of a guessing game lol. I’m changing incubating temp this go around and hopefully we will have some chicks!
