I hope my 8 BO and 6 Wyandotte’s are all girls.... lol

My post was kinda tongue in cheek. I have been binging all things chickens and the one constant this spring is how many people have cockerel when they thought they bought pullets ....

I know sexing (depending on variables) is about 85% . But if I have more than two cockerel, I am not going to be happy.... lol

My meat birds, I could care less. But my BOs and Wyandotte’s that’s another story

Another of people are getting Easter chicks from various sources, it happens around this time.

I get that. It just seems like a lot of post are of chicks brought as pullets that are turning out to be cockerel.
I am thinking it’s got a lot more to do with where you buy chicks .

I guess a good question is what recourse do you have if you bought pullets and they turned out cockerel?
Do places like TSC have any recourse?

How about hatcheries? Compared to breeders?

Or do they all say “oh well”?....
