What’s wrong with these?

These are the testicles of a 6 month old Tom turkey. They are small and black. What’s wrong with them?

I don't know. IF you don't get a good answer on here I suggest you send that to your county extension office and ask them. They should forward that to a medical expert and get you a good answer.

I butcher chicken cockerels all the time. The late maturing ones will have pretty small testicles, in the early maturing ones they can be a lot bigger. If it were just size I'd offer that as an explanation, but not with that black. It's probably harmless as far you eating the bird but I'd be uncomfortable.
