Awww so sweet. I adore Brahmas. They're such cool birds-so sweet and I love their size and feathered feet

You seem to be more of an expert then me. So I guess I was just so excited that my silkie hatched 6 healthy chicks that I wasn’t even thinking they weren’t hers but after using my brain yesterday I was like wait oh they aren’t hers she just thinks they are lol. They are for sure from my light Brahma rooster but I’m wondering if they are from my Brahma hen or one of my other breeds. Which I have several different breeds of hens. My light Brahmas I didn’t get as brand new chicks they were two weeks old so I didn’t see them this small. Can you tell if they are straight Brahmas or is it to early? All 6 chicks look exactly the same. And I took a new pic of my light Brahma rooster. He’s only about a year old right now. He’s terrified of my silkie rooster and it so funny since he’s huge compared to him.

You'll have an easier time telling after they feather out and mature but as of now, this chick looks about right for a pure Light Brahma. No guarantees yet though Here's one of my pure Light Brahma chicks for comparison:

lol I’m gonna have more Brahmas then I know what to do with . I’m working on building a bigger coup because I’m up to 40 chickens but 20 are chicks. Well 14 are big chicks since they are Brahmas lol.
