What’s your breed guess??? They are approx. 4 weeks old. They were in a bun at TSC that said mottled Java/bantam. These ladies are a good bit bigger than the 3 barred rocks we got the same day. So, I really doubt they are bantam babies. I also don’t think they are mottled Java either. The first one was black with yellow chest and belly when we brought her home. The next one was black with white and grey on her belly as a little chick.

I don't know how to tell a Blue Australorp from a Sapphire Gem, but Production Blues will have red leakage as they mature.

Could be production blues. Those are much easier to find than blue Australorps.

Leakage is color that shows through another color. It's not covered completely.
