Started my day by checking on 9 call eggs that were 5 days overdue to hatch.....all dead. Had a barred cochin hen sitting on 14 call and mandie eggs, and after 5 days she decided she was done. I put her back up with the chickens, noticed the nest was down to 11 eggs, so she must have eaten 3. Took those remaining 11 to the bator. Checked on the 6 eggs I had in another bator, had a pip and within 5 minutes there was a call baby fully hatched out. Ran and got a brooder going.....whew, I'm pooped......
