I know exactly how you feel. My DH sits and plays his computer games all day while I babysit to pay the bills and watch our 7 kids ( 2 mine, 4 his, 1 ours). You see we have been trying to sell a pool table. Well the ad got put in the paper 3 days early and my DH didn't have his shop clean for people to see, which in my opintion how nice does it have to be? It's used for storage, not anything fancy, but I agree it is trashed, people have went through boxes looking for thing and left things strung everywhere. It hasn't been clean in 2 years. Okay well someone called on the pool table and wanted to see it but DH threw a fit that the shop was too dirty, so me and 2 of the oldest kids went out and spent like 4 hours cleaning, and DH didn't come out once to help. First he was sleeping then I figured when woke up he would come help but no he got on his game. That's the way it always is, he's in our bedroom on the computer all day on I feel like I am a single mom upstairs with all the kids. Okay that is my venting for the day. Whew...it kinda feels good to grip and get it off my chest, it's just frustrating so I know how you feel!!!

Next time your DD's friend is coming over, be sure to be EXTRA dirty - and get some of the tooth black out stuff, and make sure to have a stalk of straw in your mouth.

Then you can act like the biggest hayseed and REALLY embarras her!

You know I have this very heavy soild rolling pin my great grandma gave me, and I just know you could bring him around to your way of thinking one night! Grandma told me great- grandma never had a problem with great granddad after she used it on him.

Ugh. Sorry about your bad day!! What nerve of the woman in the feed store. And what a hypocrite--unless she happened to be a vegetarian, though in my experience most people who make those kind of comments are not--and if she was a vegetarian, if she had two brain cells she'd be happy that you were raising meat ethically and humanely(which is how I feel whenever someone chooses to rasie their own meat--I'm a vegetarian)!!
