I was standing at the back door, calling the dogs inside. Our back (kitchen) door has wooden stairs over a rock dropoff. Singe doesn't trust being able to see between the stairs to the ground.
I called the dogs and Rayden can flying into the house for dinner. Singe ran up to the stairs, looked for a second and then took off running. I had just long enough to think "crap! better run catch the dog" when he nudged me in the back. Little wiseguy had ran to the back of the house, through the doggie door and came up the steps from the basement.
So much for trying to teach him not to be afraid of those stairs
