What a whopper!

    If I hadn't been watching to see who laid what I would have thought a goose snuck in and laid this one. But no it came from our scrawniest hen she is about 30 weeks and lays every day but not usually this big. The smallest egg in the picture is about 45g, I couldn't weigh the whopper but I'm guessing over 90g also strange it is pure white and we always get light brown eggs. All my girls are some kind of brown sex link. The one that is scrawny is well fed, she just seems to put more into egg production than body mass.

    Wow! None of those are small eggs- and that one really IS a WHOPPER!
