I have 31 20 week old RIRs. For the past couple weeks or so I've been getting a little egg here and there and the last few day, 3-5 little eggs a day. Then today I come home and find this

I think an Emu must have slipped into the coop while I was at work! Is this normal?

I can't imagine the relief one of my little girls must have felt

Wow, a true one egg breakfast. I can't get over thies hard working girls. Our 2 rsl's started laying 4 days befor there 16th week the 26th. of July. an egg a day each everyday since. They layed there first eggs 30 min. apart 3:30 PM. They have been laying a little earler each day. Now they are laying between 7 and 8 AM One layed a double yoke jumbo twice in the first couple of weeks. Yesterday the other one layed her first jumbo. Not to be out done the one that had layed jumbos early on layed a jumbo this morning.
