Yep yep you can use it. I have 2x4, 2x6, 2x12 for roosts in different coops. It works out great. I also have turkeys in my coops so they like the bigger spaces. I use a paint scraper/putty knife every few days to scrape wasnt doesnt fall off. I also have put up a lip around the edge so that I can put shavings up here or hay. This helps clean up a ton!
