What about chicken lost time?!

Okay, so we’re all well aware of chicken math. But what about chicken lost time?!! No one warns you about lost time! You go out to feed the flock and when you get back to the house, 3 hours have elapsed! You spent maybe 10 minutes feeding and admiring the chickens and somehow you’ve lost the whole evening! We really need to get the word out. Maybe set up a government funded department that can look into this phenomenon. Something needs to be done!
Like my laundry, the dishes, ....!

I wish my 3 lost hours were admiring my flock. I go out to feed them and notice that there are a lot of flies in one of the coops, have to do something about that. Then, some of the water dishes need serious cleaning, better scrub those right away. Looks like the Golden Girls (a quartet of large, fluffy girls) made a ginormous mess on the poop shelf; that can't wait. But, 3 hours is 3 hours!

Setting up a government agency to study how we lose time when going out to feed the chickens. Some of us are concerned it would lead to over-regulation of our chickens...or they might learn too much and decide they are actually hazardous in some way or another. Just having fun.
