What about Novogens?

I’m planing on getting 2 chicks this week to join my silkie cross. I’ve been looking at different breeds and the brown novogen was looking like my best option considering my other hen was fairly small and I didn’t want there to be an issue with the size difference. I just thought I’d ask y’all about your thoughts and experiences with Novogens?

No experience with the breed, but they appear to be a full sized bird. Bantam cochins might be better flock mates for your silky cross unless she too is a full sized bird.

Actually the hens grow no more than 4 pounds

If your silky cross is that large, then things should be fine.
