At what age can you start giveing them little treats? And what are some good ones? I have read about chopped hard boiled eggs, fruit and table scraps? Our crew is only about 3 weeks old, is that to early for a small amount of something? I don't mean every day but maybe once a week or something. We also have 2 ducklings. Thanks!

I gave mine treats at about 4wks. They love yogurt and I mix it with peanut butter! Mine love cabbage. I put a whole cabbage out for them and they love to peck at it all day long. They love oatmeal as well. There is a list on this web site that tells what not to offer.

:thumbsupGet the list like beachchickie said. I gave my chicks seedless grapes at a week old and they are now 4 weeks and 4 days old and will do anything for grapes!!! I have also given them yogurt, chopped broccoli on the bottom of their brooder, shredded cheese, sliced tomatoes, lunchmeat, bread, and whatever else we might eat. They will have things they like and things they dont. Moderation in everything. My husband gives them hardboiled eggs every other day. They wont eat the yolk (he does) but they love the whites! Start with one thing and just a little bit. If you find a favorite food, they will do anything for you!!!
