At what age do ducks start mating? And in what months or season?

Well I find my birds start breeding at around 3 months of age, though the hens don't start laying until about 6 months old. Spring is when they usually are more, ahem, active, but in general they'll mate any time of the year

Ditto Alicia G. My runners started practicing (we have no drakes) at about 12 weeks - 3 months. One of them began laying a month later, then over the next couple of months everyone got on board.

And they don't seem to only be interested in breeding in the spring. I have a couple that went broody in February.
