What age can my chicks have grass?

So I have three week old chicks or they will be tomorrow anyway I would love to give them some clover is it okay to feed it to them at the age they are?

I give my chicks outside time as soon as possible given weather. The soil microbes are important for their digestive tract.

Grass and clover is fine for them to have at any point in life. I have noticed though that chicks that I hatch and raise dont really like to eat grass until they are older but chicks raised by a hen love grass as soon as they get it.

I guess because the mother hen shows them that grass is tasty but if they dont have a mother hen, they wont want to try it until they are older.

They need access to grit first, unless they're already outside or have been given access to soil/dirt with grit in it. Impaction can be a real issue.
