I hatching some Turkey eggs coming and I have some day old poults ordered for next spring.
Both are heritage breeds (Royal Palm and Narragansett) and I just want to keep a breeding trio of each breed. I have some friends taking 3 straight run as soon as they come in so I will have 13 of the Narragansett left afterwards.
My question is at what point are they old enough to tell the toms from hens? I want to sell the left overs (well a couple will be saved for the freezer) as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance!
