What age did your golden comet ( red sex link) start laying?

I have read that are early layers. What age did your start laying?

I have black sex links and I believe we got our first egg from a BSL at 18 weeks or so. Hybrids generally start between 17-20 weeks, but it's not a hard and fast rule.

If they are from commercial stock, which most are, they usually start with squatting at 15 weeks. Pullet eggs sometime around week 17 and full blown lay at 18 weeks.

Mine started at about 18-19 weeks.

16-17 weeks. Mostly small egg, then a few double yolkers. Now at about 7 months, extra large size, except for one who lays medium.
