What age did your hens lay their first egg?

Our girls should be laying soon, one of our Isa browns, Abigail has a bright red comb and wattles and has been talking a lot, and while she isn't squatting she shakes herself off when I pick her up. :) Also our barred rock Hannah is showing signs as well. I am thinking maybe in a week or two we will have our first egg/s.

This is Abigail, the one I suspect will give our first egg!

Alright ty! Now it's back to the waiting game, I go in their coop each morning and before I open up the nests I ask them "did you guys lay me an egg today?" And then I would open it and see there was only the dummy eggs and I'll say "ok nvm" as they all start coming up into the coop to visit me

How old are your ISAs? Mine laid its first today at 16 weeks and 1 day. Only a day after my EE

My girls are 18 weeks and I just got my first egg today! 2 of her sisters should follow suit here in a few weeks I bet. The 4th girl will probably be awhile. She barely had a comb at all, despite her being the largest chicken!

My two leghorns started laying at 18 weeks, but my black stars haven't started. My EEs are a couple weeks behind them in age so don't expect anything from them for a while. Their combs are just beginning to enlarge and pink up
