What age do bantam Cochins combs begin to turn red

And is that an indicator it's a boy

I have 5 Cochins, all 4/5weeks old, their combs are all still flesh color

Someone mentioned to me, that usually by that age their combs are redder if their boys

Any advice appreciated
 
usually they are... but theres no telling unless you post pics

Thanks, I did post photos when they were 3 weeks old, some said some were cockerels..just guestimating

But the other night , when a friend was looking at them, she seemed quite surprised that not one had any red yet

She said, wow mine all turn red by 4 weeks of age if they are Roos

So we were thinking could each one hatched actually be girls.. That would be so rare

Of course me, I was thrilled, because the two I want to keep out of the group iam so hoping are girls

I know things can change, just wanted to know what other Cochin owners have experienced with their babies
