I have little leghorn chicks and I was wondering what age do they start laying eggs? I read about 20 weeks but then I read something else that said 15 weeks. So what is the age when they start laying?

MANY variables. Diet, quality of stock...everything will depend. I'd say 18-20 weeks. Could be sooner, but I don't have experience with Leghorns.

You didn't mention the color of leghorns that you have..not all leghorns lay early and lay like crazy. The colored ones usually won't lay as large or as often-the brown leghorn is the closest to the white in egg producation. Our white's all begin around 4.5 months growing up free ranging ...the younger ages you often read about are pullets in production where they are pushed more to lay. Also even in the white variety there are different lines with different results.

I had 2 white leghorn hens and they both started laying at like 22ish weeks, and within days of each other.
