What age should a cockeral crow?

The youngest ever here was 4 days (yes, DAYS) old-he was a black Orpington. Before that, we had several crow sooner than one week old, of several different breeds. The oldest so far was about 25 weeks old, my show type Barred Rock cockerel, Rex.

Every rooster that I've ever brooded has only crowed at the 3 month mark & older (12 weeks+) ... most of them crow around 5 months of age (20 weeks). Goodness.
