What age should my roo start crowing?

I havent heard a peep out of my roo yet. He is 6 months old. He is an EE (both parents are pure ameracauna, just diff color so he is a non standard color). Is this breed a fairly quiet one compared to some other breeds? At what age will he be full grown?

Roosters can start crowing at any age. I have a 4-5month mix that has already started crowing. I have one roo that waited until he was almost 10months before he ever started. Average I would have to say for my yard is about 6-8months.

My Cuckoo Marans Roo started crowing at 13 weeks, but my Game Hatch did not crow until he was 8 months old. Now they have a contest everyday
