My chickens (EE's) are approximately 3 months old. They are a pretty good size, but they still have their juvenile "peeps". I was wondering when is a good age to start preventative de-worming? I don't have any issues with them, (knock on wood), but I would like to stay ahead of any issues that might arise. Thanks!

Being in NH, I have no idea what the worm prevalence is in KY. I had my first group of birds for 2.5 years before I wormed. Then I only wormed because I had to treat for mites and the product I used also was a worming agent. You might get a more accurate answer to this question if you post it in this thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=110.

I hope it helps. Good luck.
