What age to introduce new chickens?

We want to add two pullets to join the two chicks we have hatched. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a) when to get the new chickens and b) how to introduce them all to each other. Our chicks are just two weeks old at present so it won't be for a while yet.

i introduced my younger guys to the older flock at 8 weeks...there were fights but nothing too bad bc the baby pen was in sight of the other pen, so they were roughly introduced before.

and what about seperating grower vs layer food when chix are combined???

I was assuming that after 16 weeks the chicks would be on normal food, so is that the point after which I could put them all together?
