What age to put chicks in with hens?

I have 1 year old hens and 2 month old chicks (give or take a couple of days). When can I put them all together?

I don't combine them until the chicks are almost the same size as the hens.

I agree. I integrate mine in at about 14 weeks. And before they are integrated, they have 7 weeks of seeing each other, but can't peck. I also give the babies a place to hide in the coop. It took about 2 weeks, then things settled down.
