what age will roosters start crowings?

I have 15 Barred Plymouth Rocks and 16 R.I.R.'s at what age will a rooster start trying to crow?

Anywhere from 3-5 weeks on up to 12 weeks or more.

My silkie roos started crowing right around 12-14 weeks. There really is a huge range of when they start, as well as how much and how loud they crow from breed to breed, as well as within individuals of the same breed.
