What am I - 16wks old - boy or girl

Hi All, I purchased this chicken when it was 7 weeks old and now that it is around 16wks I am wondering if it really is a girl or is a rooster.

I am hoping it is a girl, but it is just starting to look like a rooster to me? Not crowing

I am thinking it is a silkie cross mutt?? any ideas

I guess I am wanting to know

What colour would you say it is?

I don't know, but that is a pretty unique looking chicken

looks like a pullet no saddle feathers and the tail seems like a pullet either way it is a cool looking chicken.

Boy. I have no idea what mix he is, but it sure is an interesting one. I bet he grow up to be beautiful, please update with pics as he gets older.

Definitely a Roo. Enlarging comb, backswept crest, & the coloring. Might be that there's Polish or Houdan or some such in him. He's funky & pretty!

Yes, I am leaning toward rooster. He is lovely natured, lets me pick him up and pat him all the time, comes when called. This is when he was 7 weeks - not a very good photo though.
