What am I? Besides a boy that is! Color/Breed...?

This lovely boy is about only 3 months old and today I heard him crow for the first time. Time for him to find a new home since hubby doesn't want a rooster and let me keep him until he started crowing so... I'd like to be able to give more info on him as he was a mystery chick I rescued. The pictures are a little dark since he was in the shade but his neck is beginning to turn a very light golden color and he has a lot of barring showing up. He also has feathered feet and his legs were greenish as a chick but they seem to have lightened up a bit.

He looks like a Red Sexlink cockerel to me. Here's a pic I use of RSLs - girls on the left, boy in the back right.

Yeah, that's what I thought too except for the feathered feet and green legs...

I rescued him from a girl that "thought he was so cute" at a swap meet a few days old. After she got him home, she realized she had no clue what she was doing and posted him on craigslist. As I had a shipment of chicks due that week I took him for her. My order arrived the next morning and he's been super happy ever since.

He's a mixed breed of some sort. Could have BR in there plus just about anything that has feathered feet.

Some kind of cross, looks like some BR in there somewhere. I think he's going to grow into a very pretty boy!

Maybe some EE in him, or he is SL. Advertising as a mix is your best bet.
