What am I? **Better pics.

I'll tell you what he looks like. My silkie X Cochin cross, when you flatten their feathers (Crossed with a cochin frizzle)
But body wise, they are just like them!

no because then it would have a V comb because V trumps walnut

But if he is Polish x Cochin, than there is no walnut comb in the equation..

Im not trying to start an arguement.

There may be a fifth toe there.

Except that he DOES have a walnut comb as the photos show

The other thing that has not been mentioned is that not all mixes are between two breeds--there could be a number of breeds in his background. Based upon my own silkieX brahmas, silkieXduccles, silkieXpolish, silkieXcochin and various other crosses of crosses, that is what I suspect here. From having seen polish crosses and silkie crosses, he looks MUCH more like a silkie cross than like a polish cross. However he does NOT look like my F1 silkieXbrahma crosses at all--they tend to be very brahma in type. When crossed again they eventually start losing that type. I'd hazard a guess of silkieXlangshan if he was black.

First is DandeLyon, an F1 silkieXbrahma (bantam); he is typical of the F1 silkieXbrahma's I've hatched. And next is a typical silkieXpolish young un.

Not all Silkie crosses have the fifth toe. I have a six year old hen, a Silkie/Cochin/Sebright cross and she doesn't have the fifth toe. Only has the dark skin.
