What am I cooking tonight?

We are having roasted chicken tonight. It's easy and I think a BYC'er is coming for grub

Cooking a mess of chicken thighs (they were on sale) and roasting garlic along with them to spread on homemade bread (well bread machine dough then into the real oven)

and a salad.

tonight we had hamburger helper with venison but last night I made Chestnut Burrs. I think its a dutch or german or maybe just a farmer thing. Basically you mix ground beef (or venison as we do) like you would for burgers, separate into pattys and shape with a depression in the middle like a bowl. Mix up a batch of stuffing. Place a ball of stuffing in the middle of the pattys. Bake about 375 degrees till the meat is done and the stuffing is crispy on top. I make it in a pie plate like one big patty and cut it in slices.

Tonight we had a london broil that looked good at the market. I trimmed
the fat and cut it into 1/4" strips, marinated it in olive oil, salt, pepper,
lime, and adobo seasoning (my Spanish friend turned me on to it). I then
quickly grilled them on my Cuisinart grill. We started with Japanese wheat
noodles with a little chicken broth then moved onto the main course.
I made garlic bread out of a loaf of Gumpsgirl's bread I had left over.

Drumstick had a drumstick for desert.

Sounds Good! If you like Adobo try to find Mojo Marinade and use it on a Pork Loin! OMG is it good! Growing up in Florida I have a passion for Cuban/Spanish Food.
