what am i? 'duckling' found in garage

looks like something wild long chunky legs look like the belong to a rouen

I've raised many rouens and this is exactly what all of my babies have looked like. Its just starting to get its juvenile feathers.

The bumps are probably just a defect.

Rouens have huge chunky legs when they are babies and they are just overall huge duckies.

Hi Spish! According to Jennifer at the CWR, she thinks mallard and the bumps could be anything from pox (not good) to insect bites or burns. Good luck with that baby and post pics along the way.

not good news this morning seems 'ducky' is sick, blood in poops and messy diarrea in between (cocci?) have started cocci meds but im fearing the worst if its already at the bloody stage (do ducks even get cocci??)

Poor ducky. After all its been through already. They can get it- but its so rare in comparison to how often chickens get it. Ducks are hardy things- dont give up all hope yet.. Are you sure its not just something it has eaten that makes it look like blood??
