A heartfelt thanks to everyone for the warm welcomes! I suspect this will be just like every other little homesteading adventure--trial, error, and trial again.

Our berries are in 300-foot long rows and thus not easily susceptible to fencing out the feathered friends. But I suspect we could net them if they prove too irresistible.

I'll start a new thread to share what we learn as we go. Now to pick a design and start building a coop!
