I Got this little chick from TSC and it is about 3 weeks old and i got it form the Assorted Reds bin. They got their chicks from Mt. healthy which means it could be any of the following Rhode Island Red, or a New Hampshire Red. Also what gender is it?

Really?? the comb really isn't that big or red. Also i have a Pullet that is the boss of them all.

I didn't just look at the comb. I looked at the legs and the way he's feathering out. If that isn't a cockerel I'll be surprised.

In alot of breeds the cockerels feather out slower, especially across the wing bows. Wing bows are the rounded part at the top of the wing as it lays flat against the body. Think "shoulders". Cockerels will often also have sturdier, thicker legs.
