Well I am 99% sure its a girl, the color looks birchen, not sure of the breed. Looks like a dual purpose breed or a cross of two dual purpose breed.

umm we arent sure of her age but her legs are like yellow with a grey overlay

Pullet, looks almost like a Jersey Giant mix. Where did you get her?

that what we were thinking maybe a NJG x BR or NJG x Dominique idk

but we got her at Mt. Hope at one of their animal flea markets
she was free lol

I was thinking sexlink at first, the whole getting sexlinks from barred hens and black males slipped my mind. It could be a black sexlink from one of those crosses.

i know i may sound dumb but what is a sexlink chicken?

i am new to chickens

It doesnt sound dumb, everyone learns sometime or another. A sexlink is when the males hatch out one color and the females another. Like black sexlinks hatch out as black is they are female or black with a white spot on the head if they're a male. Most black sexlinks are made using a barred rock hen and a rhode island red male, the females look just like yours but with red instead of white.

There are also tons of sexlinking factors like sexlinked barring, sexlinked silver, and some others.
