What am I?

I recently adopted/rescued 5 young chickens and I have been trying to identify them. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

What color are the top ones legs? They look like EE's to me.

The top pic looks like white laced red Cornish pullets. Maybe mixed, the body stance and shape doesnt look Cornish, but the feather patterns do. The front one looks to have green legs, pr'y EE.

Middle pic looks like the same in a rooster, probably mixed EE, looks like he has a small beard.

Bottom pic, I'd say Easter Eggers, a roo in the back, pullet in front.

Of the two hens in the top picture, one has green legs and one has yellow. Other than that, they look very much like each other. The rooster, middle picture, came with these two hens, and he has green legs. Both hens are laying small brown eggs.

The two chickens in the bottom picture both have green legs. I was hoping the black one would be a hen. I'm sure the buff one is. They are so sweet and seem to be bonded with each other.

I was not familiar with chickens called Easter Eggers. I've been researching but still cannot understand how to tell if they are AMERAUCANA, ARAUCANA, or EASTER EGGER/AMERICANA.

In a nutshell----
Ameraucanas have a standard with specific requirements with regard to shape, weights, coloring, comb, earlobes, and so on. (Mine lay bright blue eggs, but not sure if they all do...)

They have a list of requirements to meet and must breed true (if you cross two, then they will produce the same qualities)

Araucanas are rumpless and tufted and Lay blue eggs

The EE is a mix that may or may not have a tail, tufts, muffs, pea combs, and do not breed true. They probably will not meet all the requirements of the standard in one way or another. Ours lay tan/pink eggs and eggs in all shades of green and light blue.

EEs are much more common as they are sold by hatcheries (although they call them by all kinds of names.) If you really want to know, ask a TRUE breeder. They are the ones with the expensive birds and know the standard by heart.

Im thinking that the top 2 do have a bit of a cornish cross look, and the bottom three are probably EE's.

Two months ago, I uploaded some images of my young flock to ask for help identifying their breed(s). They've changed a bit since then, especially the roos. Do you still think they are EE's and cornish crosses?

I wouldn't say cornish cross now, just based on the leg size. A cornish cross would have much thicker legs and be a thicker bird.

The bird still do have a white laced red pattern. The smaller rooster looks like a red pyle game cross.

I would say all are EE's.

Good looking bird. Love that black rooster.
