My name is Banty. I am nearing a year old. I lay cream colored eggs..... and my legs are dark and i am small. i have done well in this really cold winter. What breed am I?

i got her free along with 5 others... 3 which were green and blue egg layers.... 1 cochin and one buff brahma roo. banty and the roo are the same age.

She might be an EE cross, but could also be a gamebird cross - some gamebirds have green legs and that type of coloring also.

She looks a lot like my Phoenix hen... Obviously her legs aren't the right color, but otherwise... Here's my hen. Sorry for the bad picture - stupid camera (or could it be the user who loses & drops it all the time??

I have to agree, either bb red or gold duckwing phoenix hen with the wrong leg color, which happens a lot, slate colored is correct, but greenish does occur, tail is a dead give away to a phoenix line of bird though, looks just like mine, feather wise
