I posted in the meat bird section about how I got this cornish rock chick from TSC about a week ago.I'm not sure she is a meat bird because she is much smaller than the rest, feathering faster and has green legs.So my question is.... What type of chick do I have? Also she is about 2 week old.

Hi! I'm no expert, but are you sure she is not a meat bird, she seems kinda big for two weeks even though she is smaller than the rest of yours. If she is not a meat bird Im not sure on the breed

i'm not 100 % sure of her age.I got her a week ago from TSC in a deal of "meaties" because they were to old to sell.I have her in with my 3 week old EE (until i know what she is)and she is smaller than them. Compaired to the meat chicks she is about 1/3 their size.

thanks everyone.I am going to call the hatchery that TSC deals with this am.I have looked at the info on JG and it says the chicks are gray colored,(she was all yellow).I am so confused.

well, i emailed Mt.Healthy pics of the chick and they say she is an Araucana.....the American version(what ever that is lol) .I guess i will be keeping her... i'm curious to see what color egg she will lay..
How did I go from 12 chickens to 40?

is now 10 - 12 weeks old(give or take).I would love guesses on gender.I'm thrown off because the comb and wattles say roo but the feathering says hen.
