so do doms, barred rock and cuckoo marans all look the same as pullets? I was supposed to have gotten a SLW and a cuckoo maran , but now after I look at them I think I have two cuckoo marans... not sure though..

Neither look like SLW's to me...here are mine at 2.5 weeks old...I think your suspicions are correct..yours have barred pattern..not laced.

What kind of comb does your chick have? If it has a single comb,it's a Barred Rock.
If it has a rose comb,it's a Dominique.

Well the guy I bought them from only had SLW and Cuckoos... He didnt mention doms or barreds... sigh oh well... they are both super cute still and I love their coloring, but I really wanted a SLW... I guess I will just have to wait to see what their eggs look like too.

My DH suggested I take one back, but they are all getting along and super cute so maybe one day I will get all wyandottes, but not for now.
