came from ideal so hatchery born so most likly a game hen I guess, I didn't see any info on gamehen but I did see info on modern game are they the same?
looks just like one of mine.. which i believe to be a BA (just posted a pic trying to confirm lol) does the feathers have a slight blueish green tint or irredesence in the right light(mine does). verry subtle though
Okay so I say gamehen cross because of her body type and comb type, but only the OP knows for sure. . . Is that a single comb or pea comb? (sawtooth edge or rows of bumps)
Single comb - Black Australorp.
Pea comb - Game cross. Few hatcheries sell purebred Gamefowl.
Blue/green tint actually means nothing except that the bird is solid black. A huge misconception is that only Black Australorps have that tint, but in reality, ALL black breeds do. Australorps are just better known because they're so common.
