I am a new flock owner. I ordered my hens from a hatchery. I have 2 Blue Andalusians,2 Black and 2 Buff Minorcas, 4 Pearl white ,2 Red Leghorns, 3 Silver Spangled Hamburgs. The hatchery sent me a free chick with my order. I is Black and Gray with black legs. the legs are feathered. However most of it is downy like. I am new to this and did not want a rooster in the hen house. My granddaughter is fond of this one. I have told her if it is a rooster it must go. I also have 8 guineas male and female. they are all about 1 mo. old

Hatcheries do tend to send roosters for the free chick, but not always -- they may have more of a breed than people are ordering, it may not have been sexed, it may have been sexed in error as a male, etc. I'm sorry, but I don't even have a guess as to breed. Best thing to do is take a few pics from different angles and post them here:

Pictures would be great but if you have a catalog from the hatchery that may help you determine what the bird is as far as breed not sex. The bird will most likely be from a common breed. Is the coloring patterned? Wild type patterns are striped from head to tail. The feathered legs will also eliminate a lot of breeds as well . Hope that helps.

This is my free gift from the hatchery. I called the hatchery with my order no and asked about the chick. They said it was random pick by the order filler. I was not pleased, I ordered all hens did this not tell them something? This little chick is the friendliest one of the bunch, my granddaughter and I already have become attached. If this chick is a rooster this was not a good thing to do to a new costumer.
 

This is fancys comb it does have a couple of spikes and is long not round do you think it is a rooster?
 
The pic you have looks just like fancy at a vew days old now about 1 mo. I thought maybe a silkie of sulton. The chick does have an extra toe and black legs. It is very docile and one of our fav.
