So she'll have small eggs because of the old english and silkie genes? I can't wait for her to start laying...She is such a mild mannered bird, unlike everything I read about Old Englishes...that must be the silkie part. I think she is so unique looking.

Definately looks part silkie. I believe that if it were crossed with an oegb, the foot feathering would be nowhere near as heavy as it is, so it is likely not mixed with any clean legged breed. I still say she looks like a silkie x cochin.
