What animal ate my babies?

Last night a coyote behind some of the coops.

Here’s one of our coyotes. We’ve caught them with the game cam pretty often, normally between 2:00 and 5:00 am.

I have several game cameras on our property. I often see the same predators. I can tell by injuries and markings. This coyote has an injured right front foot.

Since I put up some game cameras, I have been surprised at how many predators roam around on my property especially at night. Here we have mostly coyotes. The coyotes don't have anything that prey on them but they will prey on other predators they can catch such as bobcats and fox among others. A coyote last night behind some of the coops. I do have electric wire around my coops and pens.

What type of camera is that cause I need one for outside my hen house r they weather proof?

The only drawback is that it takes the tiny micro SD cards, but takes good nighttime pictures and it fairly inexpensive.

Yes it is rain and dust proof. It's an IP56 which works ok for me. I haven't had any problems. I have 3 of them and 3 of other brands. I had one that gave me issues. It was just out of warranty so I took it apart and there was minor corrosion which I cleaned. I put the camera back together and it's been working great ever since.
