nats and lice, I always have such a hard time dusting my chickens because I see them sometimes. Little bugs make me want to pee in my pants. ICCL about big bugs though.

The palo verde beetle ...

They always show pictures of them next to a quarter or whatever, only because no one wants to pick up a big one. They can get up to 8 inches long--and like to drown themselves in my water dishes

Goats....I don't like their demonic-looking eyes and horns, and how their tails are always up exposing their anus to the world. Ick.

Small dogs with bulgey eyes...especially if they are overweight. They just look like they will just pop or split right open if you touch one. I don't like how they yap, yap, yap, yap all the time and I wonder why folks don't make them just shut the heck up? And why oh why do they always scoot their butts around on the carpet?

Cats with flat faces. Looks like someone smashed them in the face....almost looks painful. That goes for dog breeds with the same features....they look painfully contorted.

Wasps, yellow jackets, hornets...they are shiney and sharp and go out of their way to cause trouble.

Im not sure creep me out is the right term, but Im really afraid of big dogs, especially pitt bulls/rotties/boxer types. Other than that I find other critters pretty darn interesting.

I think sharks are creepy, they are the only animal that freaks me out.

Yeah, I know I am in the minority here, but I think insects are Fascinating. I took an enymology class a few years ago and have since begun my own collection of humanely collected (each of them was dead/dying when I found it) arthropods, all sorted by order. It makes a great educational tool. Exposure to things like this under controlled circumstances (like seen a dead one) can help small children avoid the phobias many of us have. Learning and understanding what insects are and do helps children appreciate them as a natural part of the world and encourages them to replace fear with compassion, or at least a healthy respect/sense of caution around dangerous ones.

If anyone out there finds a freaky bug and has the guts to pick it up with tweezers and put it in a box I would seriously pay postage for you to send it to me! The bigger and wierder the bug, the better! Really, I would love to have a giant drowned beetle. My largest so far is under 2" and doesn't look very neat aside from its size.

OH! wait I thought of one June bugs so gross me out. The way they make that "tink, tink" sound when they fly into something or crunch when you squash them.
