What Animals Creep You Out ? You May Be Surprised at My Answers...

Some folks love these, but I'm not one of them:

Brightly colored pheasants make me shudder.

So do rabbits.

I don't think rabbits are cute or cuddly-- their eyes and the way they eat are just creepy. I don't mind seeing them out in the woods, but I sure don't want one in my house.


So, what animals creep you out?

Snakes. Not lizards, no matter how big, but snakes. And those lemurs with them weird lookin eyes that seem to burrow right through you. I also do not find anything even remotely cute about ostrichs.

Monitor lizards. Freak me out.

Sharks. Spiders. Some dogs (after being bit by one).

But most of all, chickens.

By golly, they are terrifying.

not many do but ferrets bother me, nasty little animals.

You know, I'd have to say none. There are some animals the gross me out -- rats, possum -- but none that I really find creepy. Unless we're talking fish too. There are some deep sea creatures that are nightmares just waiting to happen.

Dinosaurs - really. Carnivorous dinos like the raptors. Jurassic Park, for me, is the scariest movie ever! Honestly. And big spiders (quarter size and larger). Everything else, I could deal with. The worst is when (esp. in grade school) you turn the page of a book and there is a page size picture of a spider!!!!!!!!! AGGGHHHHHH!! I honestly always freaked out and flipped the page as fast as possible. I couldn't take that thing staring at me!

Snakes, and anything that looks remotely like one before I get my contact in. I am getting better about pictures and on TV but still am startled and pick my feet up off the floor when they come on the discovery channel. Also SLUGS, I stepped on one once in my kitchen - darn dogs - hubby thought I had cut my finger off or something.
